Last night I stayed up way too late playing video games. I thought it'd just been an hour or two, and was shocked to see I'd been playing for FOUR hours. I haven't had a "lose track of time in a game" experience like that since Skyrim came out just before Juri was born.
So my sleep was pretty short and of poor quality, which is horrible for my metabolic rhythm and muscle recomposition efforts. And it wasn't even for work, it was kind of an own goal! Not good.
But, the thing is, I had a TON of fun playing that game. And having fun and winding down are also super important for stress management. So I'm not sure what to think about the late night. All in all, I guess it was a pretty bad move if I'm taking my training seriously. I won't do it again. But I don't mind too much that I did!
