Day 28: Running on fumes

Tried to keep my cardio mix interesting with a 5km run on the water today. Was nice and cool on the ocean, but when I ran down this random inlet I hit this weird patch of dead air where the temperature rose and every step felt like jogging through a swamp. Was hard to breath and I could feel the blood pounding in my head. That strange dead-zone kind of sapped my energy for the rest of the run.

As always the micro-climates out here are bewildering and can affect you in surprising ways. Still better than being stuck in a gym on a treadmill!
