I’m very pleased to have completed the final 10 km run this weekend. This is a full-featured advanced program with a mix of specific training runs, Kenzai resistance workouts, daily lessons, weekly diets and photos, blogging and a training team for motivation and support. 42 daily lessons cover a wide range of topics, introducing not only the essential aspects of running, but also how to use cross training and nutrition to support to take your running to a new level.

Farther…Faster…Smarter…If you’ve caught the distance running bug in Kenzai Run or Kenzai Run 10k and have been contemplating “what’s next?” Kenzai Run Half has the answers.
Run Half was designed for Kenzai Run & Run 10k graduates who want to reach for a new distance goal over an additional 6 weeks of training. For this second round, we have our sights set on one of the most popular race distances, the half-marathon. You’ll get the same no-nonsense formula you know and trust: daily workouts and lessons, individualized weekly diets, blogging and trainer support. Best of all, you’ll be training among an ever-growing and enthusiastic Kenzai running community.
While the focus remains on increasing your endurance, stamina and speed, you’ll start to learn the skills needed to become your own personal running coach; developing a better understanding of your current conditioning, setting training and race goals, and selecting the best strategies to get you to the finish line. With Kenzai Run Half under your belt, you’ll have the tools and the fitness-level to show up on race day confident and prepared.
This program is open to all Kenzai Run & Run 10k graduates and everyone should be ready to hit the ground running on Day 1. Recently graduated? You can expect to seamlessly transition into Kenzai Run Half.
If some time has lapsed since Kenzai Run or Run 10k, plan to ramp up your running a few weeks before the program start to 3-4 times a week including a recent 10k. Once you get back to that level and we’ll take it from there.

Kenzai Marathon: Run2Complete is a comprehensive 16-week marathon training program that will provide you with tools and the fitness-level to show up on race day confident and prepared to run 42 kilometers to the finish line!
This program is geared for those runners who are ready to take charge of their training. You’ll get a daily workout as well as the latest on marathon training including nutrition, strength training, active recovery, personal motivation and race preparation over 35 program lessons. Unlike any other program in Kenzai, your start date is determined by your marathon race date and you can work through the program on your own schedule.
But don’t worry, you’ll never feel alone. You’ll be connected to a large marathon community focused on a common goal.
Our Kenzai Marathon community is the place to share your running stories, get advice, be inspired and receive support from our dedicated Kenzai Marathon trainer as well as your fellow Kenzai Marathoners-in-training and Kenzai Marathon alumni.
Kenzai Marathon is open to any graduate of our Kenzai running programs.
Whether this will be your first marathon or one of many, you’re ready to take on this training program when:
- You’ve been running with some regularity for a year.
- You’ve been running at least 3 days a week in the last few weeks and could run a 10K tomorrow if asked.
- You can clear your schedule such that you can follow the plan as laid out and execute it correctly. You raise your risk of injury and a poor race if you miss too many run days.
This program is race-based. You should have secured entry into your chosen marathon race before starting. Each of the 111 workouts are designed to have you at peak readiness EXACTLY on race day.
