Meet Kenzai Trainer Brett
Brett grew up in the rural Midwest and has experienced both the quiet life of the countryside and the big city life of places like Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Austin, Texas. He has had several careers and likes to joke that he has worked in every major human revolution, from the farm to the factory, from running a homeless shelter to working for Bay Area tech startups. Through all of his experiences, he has continued to develop his passion for helping people overcome challenges and excel to reach their potential.
While serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in North Africa, Brett met Kenzai founder Patrick Reynolds. Years later, they reconnected and Brett completed one of the early Kenzai Body programs, taking his health and fitness to new levels and transforming him into the tireless advocate for real food and smart exercise he is today.
He currently resides just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, where he is slowly re-acclimating to the heat and humidity again after living in Portland, Maine for several years. When he is not at work or in the gym, Brett likes to challenge himself by venturing out to hike, backpack, mountain bike, and camp. He looks forward to exploring all of the nearby foot and bike trails in Middle Tennessee, as well as the music, food and comedy scene in and around his new 'home city.'
