Kenzai Marathon: Run2Complete is a comprehensive 16-week marathon training program that will provide you with tools and the fitness-level to show up on race day confident and prepared to run 42 kilometers to the finish line!
This program is geared for those runners who are ready to take charge of their training. You’ll get a daily workout as well as the latest on marathon training including nutrition, strength training, active recovery, personal motivation and race preparation over 35 program lessons. Unlike any other program in Kenzai, your start date is determined by your marathon race date and you can work through the program on your own schedule. But don’t worry, you’ll never feel alone. You’ll be connected to a large marathon community focused on a common goal.
Our Kenzai Marathon community is the place to share your running stories, get advice, be inspired and receive support from our dedicated Kenzai Marathon trainer as well as your fellow Kenzai Marathoners-in-training and Kenzai Marathon alumni.
Kenzai Marathon is open to any graduate of our Kenzai running programs.
Whether this will be your first marathon or one of many, you’re ready to take on this training program when:
- You’ve been running with some regularity for a year.
- You’ve been running at least 3 days a week in the last few weeks and could run a 10K tomorrow if asked.
- You can clear your schedule such that you can follow the plan as laid out and execute it correctly. You raise your risk of injury and a poor race if you miss too many run days.
This program is race-based. You should have secured entry into your chosen marathon race before starting. Each of the 111 workouts are designed to have you at peak readiness EXACTLY on race day.

Once you've registered for your race, come back to determine your program start date.
To do that, enter the date of your marathon, select subtract, enter 111 days, and BOOOM! you'll have your Kenzai Marathon program start date.
