A story we’ve heard far too often is that a Kenzai graduate, feeling fantastic in their new body and eager for a challenge, takes up intense running and winds up injured because they didn’t get the basics right. We hate that outcome, and Kenzai Run 10k is now here to make it not happen to you!
If you’ve always wanted to be a better runner, but weren’t sure how to train like one, this is your program. We’re going to teach you the fundamentals of running in the classic Kenzai style, with a community of fellow alumni and our training and diet staff at your back. Together we’ll hit the road, treadmill, or trail! (And by the way, as a side benefit, you’ll look amazingly fit by the end!)
Kenzai Run 10k is a 6 week course designed to get Kenzai Alumni running more efficiently and safely, without sacrificing performance. This is a full-featured advanced program with a mix of specific training runs, Kenzai resistance workouts, daily lessons, weekly diets and photos, blogging and a training team for motivation and support. 42 daily lessons cover a wide range of topics, introducing not only the essential aspects of running, but also how to use cross training and nutrition to support to take your running to a new level.
Just as in all Kenzai programs, we keep it real; simple and effective workouts, real food, with no fancy training equipment needed.
The goal of Kenzai Run 10k isn’t to get a specific PR (personal record), nor is it for training for a specific race. It’s to form a foundation of good habits and knowledge for life long running and, for those who aim higher, preparing you for that next step in your running goals. At the end of 6 weeks, you’ll have the mileage and confidence to comfortably run 10k.
